“The investment in the Gjirokastër stadium is a promise kept by the Albanian Football Federation and President Duka. Finally, the Luftëtari team will play on a high-quality field, comparable to elite stadiums. The improvements will continue with the renovation of dressing rooms and the installation of new seats. Moreover, in collaboration with the Municipality of Gjirokastër, we plan to build two more training fields in the city,” said Dervishaj.

With the natural grass field completed, upcoming works at the "Luftëtari" Stadium will focus on reconstructing the locker rooms and upgrading the seating areas in the stands.

This initiative not only raises the standard of local football but also strengthens the partnership between the Federation and local municipalities, ensuring a bright future for the sport in Albania.
