Albanian Football Steps Forward with UEFA Pro Certified Coaches

 The ninth edition of the UEFA Pro Licensing Course, the highest certification level for football coaches, has concluded successfully. Organized by the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), the course awarded diplomas to 21 distinguished figures in football, hailing not only from Albania but also from Kosovo and Argentina.

The graduation ceremony took place at the “House of Football”, with FSHF President Armand Duka in attendance. He congratulated the newly certified coaches and emphasized their vital role in advancing Albanian football.

President Duka’s Address

In his remarks, President Duka highlighted the significance of education and collaboration in improving football standards:
"I thank you for your dedication throughout this year in the UEFA Pro course. This is not merely a licensing program; it is a chance to expand your knowledge and share experiences with one another. Training is one of the fundamental pillars of our strategy at FSHF, and we are committed to improving it to support the growth of football. Now, it’s up to you to bring what you’ve learned into practice and help the sport evolve.”

Duka also commended the efforts of Sulejman Starova, director of the FSHF coaching school, Alban Tafaj, and other staff involved in organizing high-quality training programs across all levels.

A High-Caliber Learning Experience

Participants in the course had the opportunity to learn from esteemed football professionals, including Silvinho, Albania's national team coach; Fabio Cannavaro, World Cup champion with Italy; and renowned coaches like Marco Giampaolo and Francesco Troise.

The UEFA Pro course provided a platform for exchanging ideas and best practices, equipping attendees with advanced knowledge to elevate their coaching capabilities.

Among the graduates were several prominent names from the football world:

  • Pablo Javier Zabaleta (Argentina)
  • Armend Dallku (Kosovo)
  • Ledian Memushaj, Edmond Kapllani, Gilman Lika, and Tefik Osmani (Albania)
  • Albina Rrahmani and Tahir Batatina (Kosovo)

This achievement marks a significant milestone for these individuals, positioning them to make a lasting impact on football in Albania and beyond.
