The accident occurred due to a head-on crash between two vehicles, with initial reports suggesting that the collision was caused by a 53-year-old Italian driver from Carbonera, who is suspected of driving in the wrong lane. Shaka, driving a Fiat Punto, was found outside his vehicle following the crash, suggesting the impact was severe.

Preliminary investigations reveal that Shaka was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, a factor that may have worsened the consequences of the accident.

The other driver, operating a Volkswagen Golf, sustained only minor injuries and is currently under investigation for his role in the incident. Italian authorities are continuing their inquiries to fully uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety measures, such as wearing seatbelts, and raises concerns about accountability in cases of reckless driving.
