We’re still learning about his role. He has played in different positions in the past and doesn’t have a long history in the Premier League yet, but he has enough experience to make an impact. Getting him on the pitch was essential for me. We’ve seen what he can do in training and pre-season matches, but now it’s time to take things to the next level. When he came on, he really influenced the game during a key moment.”
Dyche emphasized Broja’s desire to succeed and how crucial that mentality is for a club like Everton. “He clearly showed signs of what he’s capable of. There’s genuine hunger in him. I’ve spoken to him about the opportunity to make his mark at a big club like this, and I believe he’s eager to do just that.
It’s another challenge, and we want all our strikers to embrace it. I’m happy for him; putting him on wasn’t about resting anyone. I just wanted him to get a feel for the game and the situation as quickly as possible,” Dyche added.
