Police Statement:
"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday regarding M. Ç., 45 years old, who was found deceased in his vehicle in neighborhood no. 10 of Korçë, and based on initial assessments, his death was suspected to be due to natural causes, we inform you that:
Investigative actions carried out by the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in collaboration with the Korçë Police Station and under the direction of the Korçë Prosecutor’s Office, have led to the identification of V. Sh., a 37-year-old woman, who was present in the vehicle at the time of the incident. She is reported to have been engaging in sexual relations with M. Ç. in exchange for payment.
Based on investigations and the forensic examinations conducted so far, it is suspected that the 45-year-old died as a result of hypertension.
As part of the ongoing actions related to this case, 37-year-old V. Sh. has been arrested on the charge of 'Prostitution.'
Efforts are ongoing to fully clarify and document all circumstances of the incident.
