This development marks a significant step for Kosovo, as residents will now have access to one of the fastest internet services currently available worldwide. Starlink, using a network of low-Earth orbit satellites, provides not only high-speed internet but also connectivity in remote areas where traditional infrastructure has struggled to deliver reliable service.

Starlink in the Region: Albania as a Forerunner
The expansion to Kosovo follows Starlink’s launch in Albania earlier this year, where satellite internet became available in April. The service has been met with great interest, especially in areas where the lack of traditional infrastructure has posed significant challenges to technological advancement.
Starlink is transforming the way internet access is provided, ensuring high-speed connectivity even in the most hard-to-reach places.
