 In a historic milestone for Albanian cultural heritage, “K’cimi i Tropojës” (The Dance of Tropoja) has been officially inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This recognition highlights the cultural richness and uniqueness of one of Albania's most iconic traditional dances.

The announcement was shared by Blendi Gonxhja, Albania's Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, through a heartfelt post on social media. Describing the news as extraordinary, Gonxhja emphasized the dance's significance as a carrier of rhythm, emotion, and national identity. "This is now globally recognized as a cultural treasure," he added, underscoring the importance of such acknowledgments in preserving and promoting Albanian heritage on an international stage.

In his post, Gonxhja wrote:
