Four individuals arrested as part of the police operation "Transnational" appeared before the Vlora Court on Sunday. The accused, foreign nationals from Ukraine and Belarus, faced security measures requested by the Vlora Prosecutor's Office.

Identities of the Accused and Court Decisions

The individuals presented before the First Instance Court are:

  • M.P., 27 years old, residing in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
  • N.K., 23 years old, residing in Ukraine.
  • M.S., 22 years old, residing in Ukraine.
  • O.T., 24 years old, residing in Minsk, Belarus.

The prosecution requested pre-trial detention for all four suspects. The court upheld the requested measure for two of them, while granting "obligation to appear" for the other two, effectively ordering their release from custody.

According to court findings, N.K. and M.S., the two Ukrainian nationals granted "obligation to appear," were not found to have direct involvement in the alleged criminal activities. Meanwhile, M.P., from Kharkiv, and O.T., from Minsk, were remanded in custody.

A Fifth Arrest and Pending Proceedings

As part of the same operation, a fifth individual, O.K., a 24-year-old residing in Ukraine, was arrested on Saturday. His court hearing is expected to take place in the coming days.

The operation "Transnational" remains ongoing as authorities investigate further details of the alleged criminal activities.
