The meeting also featured an exchange of official gifts, a customary gesture of respect and diplomacy. The conversation between Camaj and the Pope was described as warm and friendly, further strengthening the rapport between the Montenegrin leadership and the Vatican.

On the same day, Camaj and his colleagues held another key meeting with Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra, the Substitute Secretary of State of the Holy See. Archbishop Peña Parra personally thanked Camaj for his crucial role in facilitating the land transfer for the construction of the future Papal Nunciature in Podgorica, Montenegro’s capital. Camaj acknowledged the support of Minister Slaven Radunović, the Montenegrin Government, and the Capital City in expediting the approval process for the project.

This diplomatic engagement marks another milestone for the Albanian community’s active participation in shaping both domestic and international relations in Montenegro. Through these efforts, the Albanians of Montenegro continue to demonstrate their commitment to fostering peace, cooperation, and the strengthening of ties with global institutions, including the Vatican.

The visit and the subsequent meetings highlight the growing recognition of Albania's presence in the region, demonstrating the valuable contributions of the Albanian diaspora in Montenegro to the country's diplomatic and cultural landscape.
