Anna Oxa’s Children Granted Albanian Citizenship

 The children of renowned singer Anna Oxa, who is of Albanian origin, have officially received Albanian passports.

The news was announced by the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who shared photos with the artist and her two children, Qazim and Francesca, during the citizenship ceremony.

“Today, we welcomed the newest citizens of Tirana! Qazimi and Francesca chose to follow in the footsteps of their mother, the great singer of Albanian origin, Anna Oxa, by acquiring Albanian citizenship in an emotional moment. I’m proud that Albania is now a destination for return and rediscovery, with a Tirana that surprises everyone,” Veliaj wrote.

This marks another proud moment for Albania as it continues to celebrate its cultural heritage and embrace those who wish to reconnect with their roots. Anna Oxa, widely admired for her contributions to music, has long been a symbol of Albanian pride on the international stage.
