On Saturday, Ariel Rraja, the 24-year-old nephew of former Socialist MP Rrahman Rraja and son of Flamur Rraja, was arrested by Krujë police along with his father. The arrest stems from an alleged violent assault against Kujtim Caca and his son.
According to a statement from the Krujë Police Department's Crime Investigation Section, Ariel Rraja has been declared wanted by the Tirana Court under an arrest warrant for the criminal offense of "Escape from Custody."
The incident occurred in October 2024. The conflict between Flamur Rraja and Kujtim Caca reportedly began over a canal issue.
Two other individuals were also prosecuted for opposing police during the arrest of Ariel Rraja. They include F.R., 56 years old, and E.T., 26 years old.
