Berat Gjimshiti is declared the 2024 Player of the Year in Albania

 The selection of the best player of the Albanian national team for 2024 was determined by the votes of the national team players themselves. This prestigious honor was accepted on behalf of the winner by the mother of captain Berat Gjimshiti. The award was presented by head coach Sylvinho, marking an emotional moment for the team and its supporters.

 

Meanwhile, Ylber Ramadani was honored with the “Zemër Kuq e Zi” (Red and Black Heart) award. This special recognition was granted to the Lecce midfielder by the coaching staff of the Albanian national team in acknowledgment of his immense passion for the red and black jersey and his unwavering commitment in every match.

On the domestic front, the title of the best player in the Albanian championship for 2024 was awarded to Vllaznia’s striker Bekim Balaj. Balaj claimed the “Golden Ball” award after a highly competitive race against notable contenders Arinaldo Rrapaj, Albano Aleksi, and Ermir Rashica.

These awards highlight the dedication and excellence of Albanian footballers both in the national team and at the club level, showcasing their talent and commitment to the sport.
