Turkish National Among Arrested in Tirana Drug Bust Operation

The Police Station No. 1 in Tirana successfully concluded the "Collaboration 1" operation, uncovering a residence adapted for preparing cannabis doses. During the operation, authorities seized 5 kilograms of cannabis and two electronic scales.

 

As a result, 23-year-old S.H., a resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante delicto, while another suspect, Xh.B., was declared wanted. Xh.B. is believed to have collaborated with S.H. in procuring the narcotic substance, dividing it into doses, and distributing it within the city of Tirana.

Additionally, 24-year-old B.S., a resident of Turkey, was also arrested during the operation. He was caught in possession of a quantity of cannabis that he allegedly purchased from the 23-year-old Albanian suspect.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further investigation.

This operation highlights the ongoing efforts of Tirana police to combat drug-related crimes and ensure the safety of the community. Investigations are continuing to identify all individuals involved in the illegal activity.
