The news was announced by the UK Ministry of Defence through a post on the social media platform X, confirming Albania’s participation in the program.

Alongside the United Kingdom, Operation Interflex already includes Kosovo, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania, and Romania.

“The United Kingdom and its partners will continue to stand with Ukraine for as long as necessary,” stated the UK Ministry of Defence in its announcement.

Earlier, the UK government reaffirmed its commitment to continue Operation Interflex throughout 2025, regardless of whether the current active phase of the war concludes. Since November 2024, approximately 50,000 Ukrainian military personnel have received training in the UK under this initiative.

Albania’s participation in Operation Interflex underscores its commitment to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, further strengthening international military cooperation in defense of Ukrainian sovereignty.
