A young politician from the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), Besiri has a remarkable story of immigration. Born in Mitrovica, Kosovo, he was only one year old when his family was forced to leave their homeland due to the war. Like many Albanians, they found refuge in Germany, where Arianit was raised and developed professionally.

In the recent local elections held in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz, Besiri won the support of the citizens, securing the position of mayor of Morbach. His victory marks a historic moment for the Albanian diaspora in Germany and serves as an example of the integration and success of Albanians in German politics.

Besiri is expected to bring fresh energy to the leadership of the municipality, representing not only the people of Morbach but also showcasing the potential and abilities of the Albanian diaspora on the international stage. His election is a significant milestone for both the local community and the broader diaspora, reflecting the growing influence of Albanian professionals in European politics.
