 In a large-scale police operation, the Kosovo Police have discovered and seized a significant amount of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment in the village of Rodel, Leposaviq municipality, a few kilometers inside the Kosovo-Serbia border.

The Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, confirmed that the operation is still ongoing and provided details on the confiscated materials. According to him, law enforcement officers found a single-barrel rifle, a rifle stock, 19 pistol cartridges, a bag containing 45 rounds for long-barrel firearms, a sniper scope, a box with 11 hunting cartridges, a bag with four empty magazines, two gas masks, military food supplies, first aid equipment, and suspected explosive substances.

Additionally, among the seized objects were around 40 different military uniforms and a jacket with the inscription “Civil Protection” in Serbian. The Civil Protection organization has been declared a terrorist entity by the Government of Kosovo, and according to authorities, these findings confirm the presence and activity of parallel structures within Kosovo's territory.

During the operation, the police detained one individual for further investigation. Hoxha emphasized that there is a possibility of additional weapons being present, and the police are working to locate them.

According to sources, the operation was launched following intelligence reports that an uninhabited house contained weapons and military gear. After intervening and inspecting the scene, the police confiscated the arms under the orders of the state prosecutor.

At the same time, Kosovo authorities have accused Serbia of supporting armed groups and have demanded the extradition of Millan Radojičić, who is considered one of the key figures behind these illegal structures in Kosovo.

The Kosovo Police operation is ongoing, and further developments are expected in the coming hours and days.
