Regarding the photograph published by the CDM portal, which displays a flag designed with the symbols of several regional states—including the flag of the Republic of Kosovo placed within the Serbian flag—the Democratic Union of Albanians expresses its deep concern and indignation over this unacceptable act, local media say.

Furthermore, we call on the CDM portal to clearly distance itself from such messages and to clarify its stance, considering the influence it has on public opinion.
Kosovo is a sovereign and independent state, recognized by the majority of democratic countries worldwide. Placing its flag inside the Serbian flag is a provocative act that disregards political reality and offends Albanians everywhere, particularly in Montenegro.
This action demonstrates a lack of respect for history, identity, and the will of the people of Kosovo.
For us Albanians in Montenegro, this is a serious provocation aimed at undermining our national dignity and reinforcing harmful narratives that do not serve coexistence or good neighborly relations.
We feel affected and offended, not only as Albanians but also as citizens who uphold the values of mutual respect, sovereignty, and peaceful coexistence.
The Democratic Union of Albanians calls on the responsible institutions in Montenegro, as well as civil society organizations, to condemn such actions that harm harmony among communities.
Additionally, we urge all media outlets to report responsibly and refrain from promoting symbols that could incite interethnic tensions.
The Democratic Union of Albanians remains committed to the principles of respect for national identities, state sovereignty, and peaceful coexistence.
Provocative actions like this will not discourage us; on the contrary, they will further motivate us to stand even more united in defense of our national and democratic values.
While the Democratic Union of Albanians respects the activities of "Kamo Śutra," it is absolutely against such iconography, which deeply offends an indigenous people—the Albanians of Montenegro.
