According to official sources, during routine checks at the border, law enforcement officers discovered the undeclared cash in the possession of a 45-year-old Polish citizen, identified by the initials A.K. Following the procedural steps, authorities referred the case to the Prosecution Office, which initiated proceedings against the individual in a state of liberty.

The Polish citizen is now facing legal action under the charge of "Failure to Declare Money and Valuable Items at the Border," a criminal offense under Albanian law. The case has been handed over to the Prosecution Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further investigation.

Albanian authorities continue to enforce strict border regulations to combat illicit financial activities, urging all travelers to comply with declaration laws to avoid legal consequences.
