Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, announced the establishment of the direct flight route, emphasizing that this connection expands the opportunities for collaboration between the two countries, which have long-standing historical ties.

During her visit to Israel, Balluku met with Dina Ben-Tal Ganancia, the CEO of Israel's national airline, ELAL. The discussions focused on the importance of this new air route and its potential benefits for both countries.

The inaugural flight on April 2 will bring to Tirana a delegation of distinguished figures from various sectors, including tourism and entertainment. The event aims to promote Albania as an increasingly attractive tourist destination for European travelers, Balluku highlighted.

This new air connection is expected to facilitate greater exchanges in tourism, business, and cultural cooperation, further solidifying the relationship between Albania and Israel.
