In a heartfelt letter of gratitude, Admiral Koutroulikos expressed his deep appreciation for the support provided by the Albanians of Thessaloniki. “They say that friendship is tested over time, and this is true. I wish to sincerely thank the Albanian Community of Thessaloniki for their blood donation in support of my wife’s operation,” he wrote in his letter.

Furthermore, he expressed his willingness to participate in future blood donation campaigns organized by the community. “As a blood donor myself, I will stand with you in your future campaigns for your Blood Bank,” he added.

A special acknowledgment was also given to Professor Luan Zyka, the President of the Albanian Community in Thessaloniki, for coordinating this crucial assistance.

This act once again highlights the importance of solidarity among people, regardless of nationality or borders. The Albanian community in Thessaloniki continues to be a model of mutual aid and humanitarian values within the diaspora.
