During the inauguration, Esmeralda Capja, an experienced specialist and the founder of the clinic, shared her thoughts on the challenges and rewards of working with autistic children. She emphasized the importance of clear communication with families and an inclusive approach to therapy. “Working in this field is as special as it is challenging. Families need clarity to better understand the situation, and the experience must be all-encompassing,” she stated.

Esmeralda Capja has been involved in the education sector in London for years, holding leadership roles in English schools. Additionally, she has contributed to the Albanian community by being one of the first teachers of the Albanian language at the “Ardhmëria” association. Her dedication and professionalism serve as an inspiring example of an accomplished Albanian woman in London.

The clinic's mission is to provide professional support for autistic children and their families, acknowledging that difficulties often arise not only for the child but also for parents who may struggle to accept and navigate the situation. Proper education, guidance, and support from trained professionals help parents become more conscious and proactive in their child’s development.

To further support parents, Esmeralda Capja and co-author Nicholas Flook introduced their book, "Navigating Autism: 101 Tips for Parents with Extraordinary Kids," during the clinic’s opening event. The book provides valuable insights and strategies for parents and is expected to be translated into multiple languages, including Albanian.

The clinic, located at 2 West End Lane, Kilburn High Road, NW6 4NT, London, is open daily to provide support for autistic children and their families, ensuring a welcoming space for those in need of guidance and assistance.
