Former UK Minister Denis MacShane Praises Kenya’s Recognition of Kosovo

Through a post on the social media platform Twitter, MacShane responded to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić’s criticism of Kenya’s decision. He referred to Vučić as a “Putin puppet” and emphasized that Serbian rule over Kosovo will not return. His statement, as reported by Oculus News, underscores his long-standing support for Kosovo’s independence.

“A wise move by Kenyan President William Ruto to recognize Kosovo, in line with all major democratic economies. Putin’s puppet, Serbian leader Vučić, complains, but Kenya, like Kosovo, knows what it means to be a colony. Serbian rule over Kosovo will not return,” MacShane wrote.

MacShane has been a vocal advocate for Kosovo’s independence from the beginning. He has consistently criticized Serbia’s policies toward Kosovo and highlighted Russia’s influence in the region. According to him, Kosovo’s independence is irreversible, and the growing recognition by other nations further solidifies this reality within the international community.
