Berlin, March 2, 1914 – A remarkable sensation has been created by the announcement that the renowned director Max Reinhardt has signed an agreement with the famous actor, Alexander Moissi, which guarantees him an annual salary of £5,000 for several years. In addition to this substantial sum, it is reported that Moissi earns at least another £5,000 per year from acting in cinema companies and from dramatic recitals and special performances outside of Berlin.
