Kosovo U18 Handball Team Qualifies for the World Championship

 The Kosovo U18 handball team has successfully qualified for the World Championship after an outstanding performance in the "IHF Trophy Intercontinental." The qualification came following a hard-fought victory in the final against Nigeria, with a score of 34:30 after extra time. Both halves of the regular time ended in a draw at 13:13.

Kosovo began their journey with two victories in Group B. They secured a 30:27 win against Nigeria in their opening match and then dominated New Caledonia with a decisive 36:15 victory, finishing at the top of their group. In the semifinals, Kosovo triumphed over the United States with a narrow 27:26 win, setting the stage for a rematch against Nigeria in the final. The final match proved to be an intense and competitive battle, with Kosovo emerging victorious once again.

This year's World Championship will take place in Egypt from August 6 to August 17. Kosovo's U18 team will now prepare to compete against the best teams in the world, marking a historic achievement for the nation’s handball scene.
