The Central Election Commission (CEC) has released the Preliminary Voter List for Albanians living abroad for the upcoming elections on May 11, 2025. All Albanian citizens who have applied and been approved to vote from abroad can now verify their name on this list through the official CEC portal at www.kqz.gov.al or via the CEC application, available for both iOS and Android devices.
From March 9 to March 10, 2025, registered voters will have the opportunity to:
- Request to be deregistered from the list if they plan to be in Albania on the day of the elections.
- Reapply for registration if they have changed their residence, by providing the updated address and submitting the relevant proof of documentation.
This process is crucial to ensure the accuracy of the data and to guarantee correct participation in the upcoming elections. Voters living abroad are urged to verify their registration promptly to avoid any issues during the voting process.
