Tensions continue to escalate in the Serbian Parliament as Speaker Ana Brnabić launched a series of controversial claims, accusing the opposition of receiving support from the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). Her remarks came after opposition lawmakers disrupted Tuesday's parliamentary session by releasing tear gas in protest.

In the midst of heated debates and political clashes, Brnabić resorted to inflammatory rhetoric, accusing the opposition of serving the interests of Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the media in Kosovo. She stated that the opposition was actively working to “please the terrorist Albin Kurti and the media in Kosovo.”
During her speech, Brnabić repeatedly used derogatory and fascist language, referring to Albanians with the slur “Shiptari.” Holding up newspaper articles from Kosovo that had covered the events in the Serbian Parliament, she attempted to frame the opposition’s actions as part of a broader anti-Serbian agenda.

Brnabić’s statements have drawn sharp criticism, with many accusing her of using dangerous propaganda to deflect from the growing unrest and dissatisfaction within Serbia. The use of divisive language and the invocation of the KLA as a scapegoat highlight the deepening political crisis in the country, as well as the increasing desperation of the ruling government to maintain control amid rising opposition.
As Serbia faces internal turmoil, the international community continues to monitor the situation closely. The spread of nationalist propaganda and the use of fascist language by high-ranking officials only serve to further destabilize the region, exacerbating tensions rather than addressing the root causes of political dissatisfaction.
