The Sindos community in Thessaloniki has been shaken by a tragic incident in which an Albanian man fatally stabbed his wife before taking his own life.
According to Protothema.gr, the couple’s two daughters, aged 16 and 21, were not at home at the time of the crime. The young women, who suddenly lost both their parents, are reportedly in shock and have been unable to give statements to the police.
A Silent Crime
The murder took place on Wednesday around 1:00 PM, yet neighbors living next door to the couple’s second-floor apartment stated that they heard no noise before the incident.
“We live right next door, but we didn’t hear anything—no arguments, no sounds. They were a normal family, working people with children,” a neighbor told Protothema.gr.
