Albanian football is stepping onto the global stage, as selected domestic matches will now be broadcast beyond the borders of Albania through FIFA+, the official streaming platform of the world football governing body.
The Albanian Football Association (FSHF) has officially announced that a selection of fixtures from the country’s top competitions—including the Abissnet Superiore, the Albanian Cup, and the First Division (Kategoria e Parë)—will be available for international audiences via FIFA+.
“Albanian football is now also on FIFA+. Selected matches from our national competitions will be broadcast on FIFA+, aiming to increase viewership and promote our game to an international audience,” the FSHF stated.
This move marks a significant milestone for Albanian football, offering local teams and players a broader platform to showcase their talents while allowing fans around the world to discover and connect with the game in Albania. It also aligns with FIFA’s mission to globalize football by giving visibility to leagues and competitions from every corner of the world.
The partnership is expected to boost the profile of Albanian football and potentially attract new opportunities for collaboration, sponsorship, and talent development. As more matches become available on FIFA+, fans can look forward to following the passion and competitiveness of Albanian football—no matter where they are in the world.
