Albanian farmers will be able to apply for the 2025 National Agricultural Subsidy Scheme starting from April 14, with the application window remaining open until May 30.
Ardita Kuçi, Director of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (AZHBR), announced that the scheme is open to individual farmers, farmer groups (who benefit from 100% of the applied payment), natural and legal persons, as well as agricultural cooperation societies.
The scheme provides direct financial support through eight key measures:
1. Support for registered base cattle herds
2. Support for registered base small ruminant herds (sheep and goats)
3. Beekeeping support
4. Subsidies for seeds, seedlings, and other inputs
5. Support for the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants
6. Support for organic farms
7. Support for Global GAP certification
8. Fuel subsidies for mechanized farm operations
Applications will be conducted online via the e-Albania portal, available 24/7 from April 14 at 08:00 AM until May 30 at 12:00 midnight.

New for 2025: Support for Calf Farms
For the first time, the 2025 scheme introduces direct subsidies for calf farms with a minimum of 10 heads, offering 5,000 ALL per head. This new measure aims to strengthen Albania’s livestock sector and boost rural income.
