Albanian FA Withdraws Support for Gianni Infantino's FIFA Presidency Bi

 TIRANA, Albania – The Albanian Football Association (FSHF) has officially informed FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström that it is withdrawing its support for Gianni Infantino's candidacy for another four-year term as FIFA President.

 An official letter sent by the Albanian Football Association to FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström, officially revoking its endorsement for Gianni Infantino's re-election campaign.

In an official letter signed by FSHF President Armand Duka, the federation stated that, following further internal consultations and a careful review of the current situation, it had decided to revoke the endorsement previously given to Infantino's re-election campaign.

According to the statement, the decision follows recent developments in international football and reflects the positions expressed by several European football associations regarding FIFA's governance and decision-making processes.

The Albanian Football Association emphasized that it remains committed to working closely with UEFA and its international partners to promote football governance based on transparency, integrity, and the best interests of the game.

The move places Albania among the football federations reassessing their stance on FIFA's leadership amid growing debate over governance standards within world football.
